9) Biographies n AutoBiographies

Most people would read biographies written about famous, prominent or successful personalities even though they are in no way related to each other. They like to read about the secrets of their success or the path to their monumental achievements.

But I believe that biographies are just as useful in preserving the memories of our ancestors (or ancestors-to-be), before these memories perished with them in time.

So while your memories are not yet  lost to senility and while you are still  'around ' ,  take some time to jot down the memories you most value and contribute to this blog. Write about yourself  , tell your stories to your descendants and share your life experiences.

Or write about  your parents, tell the stories to your children about their grand-parents, perhaps as a tribute to honour their parental sacrifices. Besides, I am sure one day the grand-children or great-grand-children might ask what their grand-father did or where or how they lived... or simply who are they ? No need to be lengthy, include some photos and date them with short captions.

Send them to the author by email, it is free and fairly easy. In the past it would be costly to publish a biography and it was also not a common practice, which is why many could not retrace their roots beyond 3 generations.
